SCENE 01 / WIRELESS MICROPHONE SYSTEMS
Wireless Microphone Systems
Professional wireless audio for your Chinese production.
Wireless microphone systems capture audio without cables, so talent can move freely while the sound stays broadcast quality. Modern digital wireless gives reliable transmission, a wide frequency range, and encryption. That combination blocks interference in the crowded RF spaces you find on busy sets.
We source and set up wireless microphone systems with the frequency bands and channel counts your production needs. Our team plans the range and keeps backup units ready, so your sound department can work with confidence across many shooting locations.

Wireless microphone systems coordinated for Chinese RF
Wireless microphone work in China runs through one of the most tightly ruled RF spaces any global shoot will meet. MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) hands out and polices the range that production audio sits inside. After the 700 MHz band was reassigned, and with hard enforcement around Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, keeping the range clean is not optional.
Our inventory leads with Lectrosonics Digital and Wisycom MCR54 for narrative work where audio quality and tight spectral use matter. Zaxcom serves shoots that need transmitters able to record a backup track. Sennheiser EW-D covers value-tier ENG and second-unit channels. Lavalier capsules span the DPA 4060 and 6060 subminiature for hidden mics, the Sanken COS-11D for principal cast on long shoots, the Sennheiser MKE 1 and 2, and the Countryman B6. All of it comes in on a China Customs ATA carnet through Beijing or Shanghai entry points.
Frequency planning starts before the kit leaves our Beijing facility. We scan the shoot's locations across Hengdian backlots, Shanghai Pudong interiors, Beijing hutong exteriors, or remote Yunnan and Tibet unit bases. Then we set clean channels inside MIIT-signed blocks before crew call. For wide-coverage drama at Qingdao Wanda or Hengdian World Studios, talent can move hundreds of metres between marks. There we deploy antenna distribution, RF cabling, and Helical or shark-fin antennas.
More than two hundred set-up channels are ready for ensemble shows. Sound mixers tied to the Chinese Filmmakers' Association and trained at the Beijing Film Academy run the assignment sheet on the day. Backup transmitters and receivers ship with each booking. On-call RF support runs through the shoot, which matters when a wireless drops out mid-scene in a Wangfujing crowd exterior.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What wireless systems do you recommend?
For pro narrative work, we suggest Lectrosonics Digital or Wisycom, which offer clean audio, solid reliability, and tight spectral use. Zaxcom adds transmitters that can record on their own. When budget is tight, Sennheiser EW-D gives great value.
How many wireless channels can you provide?
We can supply as many channels as your production needs, from a single transmitter to dozens of set-up channels for large cast shoots. Our frequency planning keeps every channel free of interference.
What lavalier microphones do you stock?
We carry DPA 4060 and 6060 (subminiature), Sanken COS-11D, the Sennheiser MKE series, and Countryman lavalieres. Each one has its own traits, so we can match it to how you hide the mic and the sound you want.
How do you handle frequency coordination?
We scan your locations to find clean frequencies, then set up every wireless system to steer clear of interference. This covers both your wireless mics and any other RF gear, such as wireless video or IEMs.
What about range and coverage?
Range depends on the system and the setting. We set up antenna distribution and RF cables to give reliable coverage across your shooting area. For large locations, we can add more receiver setups.
Do you provide backup equipment?
Yes, we suggest and can supply backup transmitters and receivers for longer shoots. Spare wireless units protect your production if a piece of gear fails.
