China ranks among the world's largest theatrical markets and stands as a founding Asian cinema culture — home to Zhang Yimou, Chen Kaige, Ang Lee, Wong Kar-wai, Jia Zhangke, Lou Ye, Bi Gan, Diao Yinan and Frant Gwo. The country's production setup has backed everything from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Farewell My Concubine, Hero and The Last Emperor through Mission: Impossible 3, Skyfall and the Wandering Earth blockbusters that reset Chinese box-office records.

We provide full-service production support for studio-backed and independent features shooting in China. Our department heads come from the Beijing Film Academy and Central Academy of Drama. Stage capacity spans Hengdian World Studios in Zhejiang, Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis with the largest soundstages in Asia, Chedun Movie Town outside Shanghai, the China Film Group Huairou base, Huayi Brothers studios in Suzhou and Hainan, and Shanghai Film Studio.

Regional rebate programs shape budget structures. Qingdao gives up to a 40 percent cash rebate for qualifying shoots through the Qingdao East Movie Metropolis incentive. Hainan offers a tropical-incentive package, and Hengdian, Suzhou and Xiamen run their own production support schemes on top of a 17 percent VAT base. Co-productions go through the China Film Co-Production Corporation (CFCC). This grants official co-production status, which bypasses the thirty-four-foreign-film theatrical quota.

Our team manages NRTA script pre-approval and sensitive-content review around PLA, religion, ethnic minorities, time-travel and supernatural elements. We also handle the bilingual crewing and treaty forms that co-production needs. Crew scaling runs from twenty-person indie units up to 150-plus department major studio shoots. Location access reaches the Forbidden City and Great Wall under permit, the Bund and Pudong skyline, Pingyao and Hongcun's UNESCO villages, Guilin karst, Yunnan, Tibet and the Hainan tropics. Post-prod through Base FX, More VFX and Pixomondo Shanghai delivers DCP, streaming and broadcast specs for SIFF, BJIFF, Pingyao IFF and the global circuit.
